“Easter Bunny’s Assistant” by Jan Thomas

(This is the author who wrote "Rhyming Dust Bunnies")

Read any Easter books you have at your house.

Math Activities

  • Plastic Easter egg match

  • Cut out eggs, write number and find something in house that you have that many of.  For example: an egg with 6 might be how many pairs of socks you have in your drawer or how many eggs are left or how many rolls of toilet paper you have left.

Art Activities

  • Make Bunny Foo Foo - click here, print pattern on to something thicker like card stock or trace on to a cereal box. Then cut out eyes and decorate.  Could use pipe cleaners, straws or paper to make whiskers.  Add a stick or string to either hold or tie on as mask.  Use mask to act out "Little Bunny Foo Foo".
  •  Color Jesus Has Risen - click here
  • I Spy Easter Activity - click here

Cooking/Science

  • Help a family member boil eggs and decorate for Easter.  Peel an egg for you or a family member.

Religion:

  • When we talk about Easter we talk about being sad on Good Friday(the day Jesus died) but then happy on Easter Sunday (when Jesus rose again and then joined his Father in heaven)  This video tells the general story of what happened to Jesus.  Your child may have more questions.
